Microcertec Holding, parent company of Microcertec S.A.S, has recently acquired the company Cérafast, based in Bazet (65), France, a specialist manufacturer of high-purity, custom-made alumina and yttria-stabilized zirconia ceramic parts.

Cérafast specialises in two specific techniques used in the field of technical ceramics: precise isostatic pressing of small and medium-sized bars and precision green machining.

These two areas of expertise are a welcome addition to Microcertec’s extensive skill set and provide the company with a unique offering on the market for technical ceramic parts used for high-tech areas of application.

Investments and improvements shall be made at the Bazet production facility over the coming months and Microcertec shall share its administrative and commercial resources, along with its expertise on precision grinding and branching out towards international markets. The combination of an expert workforce and state-of-the-art facilities will help take our companies to new heights with regard to the technology and products that we can offer, including pressing, green machining, sintering, precision grinding, laser micro-machining, 3D-metallized ceramics and ceramic-to-metal assembly.
